Update on Donna
Hi everyone
A return visit to the oncologist showed that there has not been much improvement in Donna's blood work. With that being the case, the doctor wants her off the medicines for another 2 weeks and then hopefully her numbers will be within normal range.
She has lost 5 pounds since last week. In two weeks he hopes to start her on a new protocol. It will be weekly transfusions of a drug called Torisel which is used for advanced renal cancer. The
sessions will last about an hour , the treatments will be ongoing with no respite.
This drug has the same side effects as the one she was just on, but hopefully it won't be as severe. She has started to notice a "thinning" of her hair.
So we continue to walk the walk , in HIS light.
