Hike on Hontoon

Yesterday, Peter and I took the girls and met up with a couple other cachers to find an Earthcache on Hontoon Island. We came to this island once before but we didn't get to hike it as much as we would have liked. Today we hiked a good 3 miles but still didn't get around to the East side of the island, I guess we will have return sometime. The weather was beautiful yesterday so it made for a great day for a long hike like this. The girls really enjoyed themselves and the nice ride in the strollers out in the woods, and the exercise was great for Peter. These pictures were taken along the way. After the nice hike us adults rested as the girls played on the playground up by the boat dock that takes you across the river.
