GemFest

Every year there is this little convention type deal where a bunch of guitar players from all over come and hang out and listen to some live bands play. They look at cool guitars and buy t-shirts and talk guitar lingo. Peter went last year with Chris and showed off the red guitar that he had made for Chris a few years ago. Of course, everyone was impressed so this year Peter wanted to go and bring out some more of his work. He told one of the guys that puts the thing on that he was planning on coming and the guy made it a point to tell Peter that he would have a table for him to lay out his stuff. Chris was one of the performers asked to play and while he entertained us Peter set up his table and got lots attention. I don't think one person in the room was able to walk by Peter's guitars without stopping to drool and ask questions. We dropped the girls off at our friend, Val's house, and then went with Dan, he is the owner of the aqua headless bass (second one to the right) that Peter finished a couple months ago. In the pictures you can see Chris playing his latest Chellee Guitar with the green LED lights on, and the other is a photo of five of the latest creations from Peter's shop. All but one is sold and that is the second from the left that Peter made for himself. You can kind of see the last three guitars have LEDs lit up, red, aqua, and the last is green, if you click on the picture to enlarge it.
