His name

Lots of people have been asking about Javan's name (pronounced Jay-vin) and where it originated.
In Genesis 10:2 you will find that Javan was actually one of Noah's grandsons, son of Japheth. There isn't much in the Bible about him but we liked the name and it isn't overly common like so many others we considered. Javan's middle name, Dee, was Peter's grand-
father's first name and Peter's Dad's middle name. The names together flow well and they make for good initials. We are very proud of our new son, JD, and can't wait to show him off to everyone.

As soon as we say his name in an earlier post we looked it up and read as much info on the internet we could find on the name. I was wondering how you would pronounce it since there seem to be many options. It is a beautiful name.
