DUI and caching
I guess I have been kind of slacking on the blog lately. Sorry about that.
Last night I worked a DUI sting for the police department. I patrolled with another volunteer while officers from Casselberry, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Altamonte, the county, and Sanford joined forces and tried to clean up the Sanford area. They were looking for mostly DUIs but there was a zero tolerance so people were getting ticketed and arrested all over. If any of you drove through Sanford last night around 12 or so you would know that you couldn't go one mile without seeing a Cop car. The volunteers patrolled in their own cars with a partner and we assisted the officers by righting up tow reports and calling in tow trucks. It was really fun. It went on until 4 in the morning but I left at 12 because I had to get up today to go caching. Had I known the event was going to be so long I would have rescheduled but I had already made the commitment to my friend when I found out.

Today I took the girls and picked up another local cacher and we grabbed a few caches in Oviedo. The rain started in really hard spoiling our plans to cache the area further. Oh well, they will still be there when we go out again (hopefully).
