The Rock and The Rabbi
The other day I got a call from my friend Brenda who told me that her and her husband, Bill, got us tickets to go see a play in Orlando. She said if we needed a babysitter they would be happy to watch the kids so that Peter and I could have a date night. How sweet!! Well, it turned out that my mom wanted to watch the kids so after she came to our house we headed out to Orlando where the theater was. When we got there Peter got a call from Bill and it turned out that the manager gave them free tickets
right in front of us after she heard what they had done for us. Awesome!! The show was absolutely amazing!! We had such a great time and I was sad when it was over. Basically it was like a concert with narration. The narrater was Simon and he told his story about his life with Jesus and all the miracles he experienced and his failures. It was really moving and the music was amazing. They were only in town for two days but when they come back we will definitely be returning and bringing lots of friends with us. After the show we went to dinner with Brenda and Bill at The Cheesecake Factory. It was a great evening and we are so thankful that we are blessed with wonderful friends! Thanks Brenda and Bill, we really enjoyed the show and can't wait to go back again!
