Happy Easter!! He is Risen!
The other day Abbi asked me if the Easter Bunny would know where to deliver the baskets. She was concerned because the leprechaun didn't stop by either house on St. Patrick's Day this year. I told her that I think the Easter Bunny would know because now we have everything moved over and are really living in the new house. I also told her that the leprechaun probably went to our old house but got confused when there wasn't much there so he left without doing
anything like he normally does. She seemed to accept this answer and went on playing. Last night the bunny must have made it to the house because we woke up and found three bean bag chairs with beautiful Easter Baskets on them. There were also several dozen plastic eggs hidden around the house with treats inside. The children found all the eggs but we didn't let them open them until after we went to church. Church was great, as usual, and then our family went out to lunch at the Olive Garden. When we got home the children opened their eggs and baskets and we played with some of the toys they got too. We made a trip to the old house and then came back where I made us all a nice fish dinner. Our day was pretty quiet and low stress which was a wonderful change from the last couple of weeks.
