Peter and I have waited all summer for this day, the first day
of school! We were busy all weekend getting school supplies in order and picking out what we were going to wear. The girls had missed feelings about going back to school. Abbi was excited because she loves school but Bresa was more reserved. I think she was excited because when we would talk about
her friends and her teacher she would get happy but she had to put on a show about how she didn’t want to go back so she wouldn’t admit it. Javan was excited, this year he starts preschool. He has been talking about it since he turned 4 so he is looking forward to being a big kid and going to school with his “pack-pack”. Javan will be going to the preschool at our church and then next year will start Kindergarten
and go to the elementary school where the girls go now. Abbi starts 3rd grade and Bresa starts 5th. I have been off for about a month before the baby was born. Today was also my first day back to work. I was not excited about it but life goes on. Peter will have the whole house to himself for several hours today. It will be quite the change from the summertime house filled with the entire family. Another school year is in session, we are all looking forward to see what God has in store for us.
