Blooming Flowers
Just this week the bulbs that the girls planted last year started to bloom.
They had sprouted a while ago and the stems grew pretty long. We checked them everyday when we left the house to see if any flowers were coming but we didn't even see any buds. One day we walked out and were greeted with a whole stem of bright red blooms. There are several more to come but the first buds are always the most exciting. I think we have yellow ones too, I will be excited to see those again.
