Back To Las Vegas Day 1

Peter and I had to go back out to Las Vegas again. This time we got a direct flight on Southwest which was great. No layovers or unnecessary traveling time needed. When we got on the plane we picked out some good seats (on Southwest you get to pick your seats when you get on) and sat
as the rest of the plane boarded. We weren't really paying attention to the other passengers getting on but when I happened to look up I saw our friend Paul from church walking by us. We called to him and he took a seat next to us. What a crazy coincidence! Non of us could get over the fact that not only were
we all going to Vegas today but that we had the same flight (Southwest Airlines alone had three flights to LV this morning). Our flight was just over 5 hours long but we filled it with conversation and laughing and before we knew it we had landed. Paul was staying at the HardRock Hotel for a convention and had planned on taking a taxi. Peter and I were renting a car so we told him to come along. Since we couldn't check in to our hotels for a another 5 or 6 hours
we stopped and got some lunch and then took Paul to the Hoover Dam because he had never been there before. This time we took a guided tour and got to go down inside the dam and see the huge generators that generate electricity for several states. After the tour we walked around the top of the Dam. The weather was beautiful this time and not near as hot as when we came a couple months ago. Afterwards we headed to a nearby mall where we met up with Sharon and her children (from my first surrogacy). It was great to see them again but we didn't hang out too long.
We dropped Paul off at his hotel and then checked into ours at Mandalay Bay Resort, the same hotel we stayed at in August. Once we were all settled in our room on the 29th floor we got dressed and headed to the Bellagio where we had tickets for Cirque Du Soleil's O. We had perfect seats and could see everything on the entire stage. The show was great but Peter and I were so tired from our long day we had a hard time staying awake. As we walked back to our hotel we grabbed a large piece of Pizza from NYNY and ate as we walked so we didn't waste anytime and could climb into bed sooner.
