AWANA Ceremony

Since school is letting out soon that means that AWANA at church is ending also. The girls go every Wednesday to Cubbies (Abbi) and Sparks (Bresa) where they learn great things about God and Jesus Christ. They are responsible every week for learning a bible verse and reciting it back to the AWANA leaders. When they do this they earn little patches or gems for their vests. Tonight was the awards ceremony where the girls went up to the stage with their classes and sang songs and received their awards for all their hard work. They will each stay in the same class next year but the year following that Abbi will move up to Sparks.

They are so cute, I remember doing things like that in school. It's weird being on the other end of those little things. But lots of fun just in a different way.
