Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone!! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful day full of family and fun. We thank God for everything He has done in our lives especially giving His one and only son. Christ took died the death we should have died
and paid for our sins with his life so that we could be found righteous and receive eternal life.
The last few days have been pretty crazy for us. We had our usual church night on Wednesday and then Peter had worship team practice on Thursday. Every Good Friday we have a "Consume" service so we were at church for a great evening of
prayer and worship. After each Consume our church holds a continuous 24 hour of prayer. Our Life Group was signed up for 8am on Saturday so we were back at the church and fill our hour with prayer about many things. The hour flew by and before we knew it it was 9 and time to go so the next group could come in. Our Life Group had organized a breakfast at Bill and Brenda's house to be held in "Peter and Chellee's honor" to show us how much they appreciated our leadership and always being there
for each person in the group and giving of our time and home to accommodate everyone each week. Breakfast was delicious and extremely filling (as always). Once we left we headed to Altamonte to meet Janell and Wyatt and my new nephew. He was adorable and so very tiny. I didn't get to hold him as long as I would have liked because Peter had an appointment at the Apple Store. Saturday night we were back at church for our first ever Saturday Easter Service. Peter was playing so he had to be there and I just couldn't resist. This morning Peter had to be at church early so I got the kiddos up and ready. My mom came by and picked up the girls so I just
took Javan. I went to the first service but everyone else stayed for the second service too. This gave me time to play Easter Bunny and when I got the call that everyone was headed home I took the car to get some gas and then met everyone back at the house. The girls were ecstatic to see the big baskets and then they looked out in the backyard and spotted a couple eggs so they wanted to go
collect them all. After some pictures the children went out to find all the eggs and had a great time doing it. I had fun just watching and directing Javan on good places to look. After they were all found and opened and gone through we all had some yummy ham and potato salad and deviled eggs. The girls worked hard on the traditional Easter Bunny Cake and then colored some eggs. Finally, the children got to open their baskets and play with all the toys and touch all the goodies. It is a school night so after some dinner and cake all the children took showers and they were off to bed. What a wonderfully full and blessed day we had. Thank you God for my wonderful family and for loving me so much that you would send your son to die for me. I could never fully understand how incredible of a gift that truly is but I will praise your name forever.
