Turtle Sighting
A couple weeks ago we were driving home and saw a turtle in the neighbor's yard. When we got out and unloaded the car we decided to come back and see him but he was already gone. Today I was on the way out with the girls and there was the turtle again crossing the road. I stopped the car and had the girls get out to see him.
He wasn't too afraid but we stayed back so we didn't scare him. When we were ready to go he still wasn't across the road so I picked him up and let the girls touch his shell to see how hard it was. I put him a good bit into the neighbor's yard so that he didn't try and come back across before we were past. The girls were really excited about the turtle and on the way home they both tried to find him out the windows.
