The Mad Scientist
Bresa had quite a bit of homework to do for a project that is due on Friday. She got a bit overwhelmed and we had to separate her from the computer so we sent her to her room to practice violin. While that was going on Abbi asked if she could do her experiments
from her Science Lab yesterday. I picked out half of the cards and said we could do those. With Daddy's help our kitchen was soon the laboratory for Dr. Abbi. The experiments on the cards were simple and didn't require much and the ones I picked out 
were ones I knew I had all the ingredients for. Some of them worked out well but some not so much. Abbi had a good time and got to practice her measuring and cleaning up skills. She was excited to see how they worked and also how different 
ingredients interact with each other. She also realized that vinegar smells really really bad. :) After a few different experiments it was time to get things cleaned up. Abbi really enjoyed the whole thing and I think learned a thing or two also.
