Grain of Salt
Peter had a meeting with Bresa's teacher today to discuss Bresa's goals for the upcoming year (something they do each year with each of the student's parents). The meeting went fine and only great things were said about Bresa and also a few good stories were told. Here is one of them:
During Science the children were learning about static energy and the teacher poured a little salt on each group's table and challenged them to find a way to pick up the salt with a spoon without scooping it up. The goal was to get the children to rub the spoon on their clothes to create a static charge that would hold the salt. Well, one boy at Bresa's table was getting really worked up when they couldn't find out how do it. He started saying, "It's not possible. It can't be done, it's not humanly possible!" Bresa just looked at him and said quietly, "With God all things are possible, let's pray." Oh, that's my girl!! With all the other positive things Peter told me about the meeting, this is the thing I am most proud of.
